Critiques
It could just be your style, but the scars have a flat appearance, almost as if they were painted on or are markings. You did well by making them jagged and at angles. On areas such as the underarm on the left front leg you could make an indention where the scars meet the flesh in the line art instead of making it a straight line.
Background meshes well with the dragon's bright colors. Very appealing to the eye.
The dragon was the perfect choice for you to warm up with. You're well practiced with drawing them and it is completely your forte.
